Dr. Phil Harvey<\/strong><\/p>\n

Professor of Law and Economics at Rutgers Law School<\/p>\n

Philip\u00a0Harvey\u00a0is\u00a0a\u00a0human rights economist\u00a0and one of the world\u2019s foremost authorities on the right to work.\u00a0In recent years\u00a0he worked\u00a0closely\u00a0with Rep. John Conyers, designing and drafting\u00a0legislation that would guarantee this\u00a0right\u00a0in the United States, as advocated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt over 70 years ago.\u00a0Dr. Harvey advised Rep. Conyers on the design and drafting of H.R. 1000 (\u201cThe Humphrey-Hawkins 21st<\/sup>\u00a0Century Full Employment and Training Act\u201d).\u00a0He is a founding member of the National Jobs for All Network.<\/p>\n

Professor Harvey received his B.A. degree from Yale University, his Ph.D. in economics from the New School for Social Research, and his J.D. from Yale Law School.<\/p>\n
