Democratic Socialists of America [DSA] Adopts Job Guarantee as Part of Labor Priorities: Thanks to a coalition of NJFAC and DSA members, at the DSA’s 2017 national convention members voted to include a job guarantee as a part of their labor priorities for the next two years. NJFAC’s work highlighting the importance of direct job creation convinced the DSA’s national delegation to continue fighting for what FDR considered to be the fundamental economic right, the right to living wage work. We look forward to this continued partnership, in order to make the transformational change of living wage jobs for all a reality.
